Neo Biologist employs a single-blind peer-review procedure, where the identity of reviewers remains confidential to authors. This process ensures the integrity and quality of published research.

Upon submission, manuscripts undergo an initial review by the Editorial Team to assess novelty, originality, and relevance to the journal's scope. If deemed unsuitable, manuscripts may be rejected as "Desk Rejected".

Manuscripts passing initial review are processed through our online platform and sent to at least two independent external referees. These reviewers evaluate the manuscript's scientific merit, providing detailed comments and recommendations.

The Editor-in-Chief makes decisions based on peer-review reports, conveying comments and decisions to authors. Manuscripts requiring revisions undergo another round of review to assess authors' responses to reviewer comments.

Submissions from Journal Editors undergo independent peer-review and are handled by another Editor to ensure impartiality. Additionally, all manuscripts undergo similarity checks using Turnitin to ensure originality.

Once accepted, manuscripts are processed for formatting, copy editing, proofreading, and metadata generation for indexing and publication. Through this rigorous peer-review process, Neo Biologist ensures the quality and integrity of published research.
